About North Shore Accredited Practising Dietitian Jill Ng
I’m a consultant clinical dietitian with extensive experience in hospital nutrition. Born and raised in Sydney, I studied at Wollongong University.
I have a double degree in Commerce majoring in International Business and Nutrition 2004 and a Masters of Dietetics 2006.
I studied the different methods of dietary interview and reporting to assess the levels of protein in patients with renal kidney disease at St George Hospital. I worked in hospital at the SAN, St George Private, and in Private Practice at Newtown Nutrition and in corporate at Nutricia and later worked as a specialist dietitian in the UK within the NHS for weight loss surgery centres there and have continued in hospital for surgical oncology patients with Pancreatic & Hepatobiliary Cancer.
I completed my Graduate Certificate at Sydney University in Metabolic Health Medicine in 2022.
My expertise is in several areas.
Languages - English & Chinese Cantonese Mandarin speaking dietitian available. Pls contact us if you have another language you require (Arabic, Korean speaking practitioners available on request).
Locations: Balmain East & Online in your Home by phone or video conference available.

Jill currently works at North Shore Private providing consultation to the inpatients of the hospital since 2013 and works with the Specialist Drs, Oncologists and Surgeons operating there and Gastroenterologists at Northern Gastroenterology. To request a visit while in hospital speak to your Specialist Medical Doctor or GP.

Limited Face to Face appointments are available on the fourth Wednesday of each month please call reception on 9555-7887 to book.
Bookings are available to non Australian residents with prior payment and booking of appt depenting on your time zone. Please email me to arrange an appointment and I look forward to assisting you. Payment is taken in Australian Dollars.
Fees are payable at the time of booking for all telehealth and online appointments. Face to Face require payment on the day and for cancellations within 24 hours of booking there is a 50% cancellation fee of the booking cost.
For cancellations in advance of 24 hours there is no fee. But it is recommended to rebook for the next best date to avoid delays to your dietary plans.
